IX Elena Obraztsova International Competition of Young Vocalists (Part VI)

The Competition was established in 2006 by the Elena Obraztsova Cultural Centre and the outstanding Russian singer Elena Obraztsova as an important educational and enlightening project in the field of classical music, aimed at making the young generation interested in classical music.

The competition is held by the Elena Obraztsova Cultural Centre (St. Petersburg) and the Elena Obraztsova Foundation (Moscow) under the Presidential Grants Fund and the Committee for Culture of the Government of St. Petersburg.

The competition is designed to help identify talented young vocalists, improve their performance skills, and expand creative contacts between Russian and foreign musicians.
