Petrovsky Ball in St. Petersburg

On August 25, 2023, the world-famous Great Hall of The Catherine Palace in Tsarskoye Selo hosted the "Peter's Ball in St. Petersburg" - a unique and memorable event created on the model of the Dresden Opera Ball to revive the famous Petrovsky Assemblies, as a significant part of the Russian cultural code laid down by Peter I .

The event was implemented using a grant from the President of the Russian Federation, provided by the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, as well as with the support of the Governor and the Government of St. Petersburg.

The program of the evening was graced by the stars of the world classical scene: the world-famous Russian opera singer - Ildar Abdrazakov, the famous tenor and director of the State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Uzbekistan Ramiz Usmanov, the charming soprano, the leading soloist of the Moscow Academic Musical Theater of K.S. Stanislavsky and V.I. Nemirovich -Danchenko - Elena Bezgodkova, winner of the Tchaikovsky Competition, violinist, soloist of the Moscow Philharmonic and the St. Petersburg House of Music - Pavel Milyukov, international jazz star, famous saxophonist Igor Butman and the Moscow Jazz Orchestra, the famous pop group "Dschinghis Khan" ("Genghis Khan" ) from Germany, the symphony orchestra "Northern Symphony" conducted by maestro Fabio Mastrangelo - artistic director of the Musical Theater of St. Petersburg. Hosts of the evening: Miss Universe, laureate of international competitions, TV presenter Oksana Fedorova and artistic director of the Petrovsky Ball - Hans-Joachim Frei.
