Master class by Maria Zhuravleva

From March 27 to March 30, 2025, the Moscow musical theater "Helikon-Opera" will host the III All-Russian Cello Academy - an educational event for professional performers, students and graduates of musical educational institutions in the cello class. This year it is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of V. Berlinsky.

The Academy will include 13 open master classes of famous cellists, reports by professionals on topics relevant to musicians and a final concert with the participation of all teachers and students who took part in the master classes of the Academy.

On March 29, a master class by Maria Zhuravleva was held.

In 2014, she was recognized as the "Best Teacher of the Year" in the nomination "Cello". She successfully conducts master classes in many cities of Russia, as well as in South Korea and the USA.

Teacher of the Central Music School (AIS) in cello. Over the years of work at the Central Music School, she has trained many now famous musicians, including: Borislav Strulev, Alexander Ramm, Sergey Antonov.

Author of the book "Maybe My Child is Mozart?" and her own teaching method for beginning cellists.
