Description

From March 29 to March 31, 2024, the Moscow musical theater “Helikon-Opera” will host the II All-Russian Cello Academy - an educational event for professional performers, students and graduates of music educational institutions in the cello class.

The Academy will host 10 open master classes by famous cellists, presentations by professionals on topics relevant to musicians, and a final concert with the participation of all teachers and students who took part in the Academy’s master classes.

On March 30 a master class by Maria Zhuravleva, a graduate of the Moscow State Conservatory, took place. In 2014 she was recognized as “Best Teacher of the Year” in the “Cello” category. Successfully conducts master classes in many cities of Russia, as well as in South Korea and the USA.

Teacher of the Central Music School (AIS) in the cello class. Over the years of work at the Central Music School, she trained many now famous musicians, including: Borislav Strulev, Alexander Ramm, Sergei Antonov.

Author of the book “Could My Child Be Mozart?” and his own teaching methods for beginning cellists.
