From August 17 to September 1, the Astrakhan Region hosts the International Festival of Classical Art "Caspian Seasons - 2024". The project was made possible thanks to the national project "Culture".

The festival is a bright event uniting the culture and peoples of the Caspian Union: Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Iran and Turkmenistan. This year, guests from the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Belarus will also join the festival.

A big concert was held on the Cathedral Square of the Kremlin on August 17. It was attended by world-renowned opera and ballet stars: Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, People's Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan and People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Abdrazakov; Honored Artist of Russia and the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, soloist of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia Agunda Kulayeva; People's Artist of Azerbaijan, soloist of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia Dinara Aliyeva; Soloist of the Hamburg State Opera Opera, guest soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia Dovlet Nurgeldyev (Turkmenistan); famous singer from Turkmenistan Aina Seyitkuliyeva; Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, leading master of the stage of the State Opera and Ballet Theater "Astana Opera" Talgat Musabayev; leading Iranian violinist, Laureate of international competitions Amin Ghafari. Also, a ballet couple - soloists of the Astana Opera Ballet Theater, Honored Figure of Kazakhstan Anel Rustemova and Serik Nakispekov performed for the audience of the opening.

The Symphony Orchestra of the Caspian Littoral States, led by Mikhail Golikov, People's Artist of Kabardino-Balkaria, performed works by great composers.
