Olga Galochkina Master class

Description

From March 29 to March 31, 2024, the Moscow musical theater “Helikon-Opera” will host the II All-Russian Cello Academy - an educational event for professional performers, students and graduates of music educational institutions in the cello class.

The Academy will host 10 open master classes by famous cellists, presentations by professionals on topics relevant to musicians, and a final concert with the participation of all teachers and students who took part in the Academy’s master classes.

On March 31 a master class was held by Olga Galochkina, cellist, associate professor at the Moscow State Conservatory. P.I. Tchaikovsky and a teacher at the Central Music School (Academy of Performing Arts), Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation.

Olga Borisovna actively combines teaching activities with concert performances; she is a member of the State Quartet named after. S.S. Prokofiev. Performs as a soloist and in chamber ensembles. She is a permanent member of the Taneyev Trio, in which she won the 1st prize at the Open All-Russian Chamber Ensemble Competition named after. S.I. Taneyeva (1996). Since 1999, she has been a soloist of the New Music Studio ensemble, and since 2007, a member of the Prokofiev State Quartet.
