Nominations: "Opera" and "Ballet Music"

On September 16, concert auditions (readings) of the works of the winners of the IV All-Russian Competition of Young Composers "Score" continued in the Great Hall of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. On this day, the works of the finalists in the "Opera" and "Ballet Music" categories were performed.

The music of the contestants was performed by the Moscow State Academic Symphony Orchestra. Alexey Khodorchenkov, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, is at the conductor's desk.

The names of the winners will be announced on November 20 at a gala concert in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory. They will receive cash prizes and global media support from the competition's partner, the Orpheus Television and Radio Center.

The competition "Score" is organized by the Foundation for the Innovative Development of Culture, Education, and Science (FIRCON) with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, and the Union of Composers of Russia. The project partners are the Moscow Conservatory, the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich—Danchenko Moscow Academic Musical Theater, the Russian National Museum of Music, the Moscow State Academic Symphony Orchestra (MGASO) and the Orpheus Television and Radio Center. The general partner is the Russian Musical Society.
