A. Scriabin. Poem of Ecstasy

The Danish National Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Fabio Luisi, will perform Alexander Scriabin’s *Poem of Ecstasy*—a work striking for its emotional intensity, vivid orchestration, and philosophical depth, which stands as a significant milestone in the evolution of early 20th-century musical art.

At the heart of the poem lies the concept of an eternal play of the "spirit, which creates all things through dreams." The composer articulated his philosophical program in verse, tracing the journey of the creative spirit: from yearning and reverie, through a soaring ascent, to the ecstasy and triumph of the self-affirming "I".
