A. Scriabin. Prometheus: The Poem of Fire
Distinguished pianist Pierre-Laurent Aimard and the Danish National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Fabio Luisi, perform Alexander Scriabin’s groundbreaking work, "Prometheus: The Poem of Fire." For the composer, "Prometheus" was not merely an illustration of an ancient myth; rather, he viewed the figure as a symbol of the active energy of the universe—a creative principle encompassing fire, struggle, effort, and thought. Scriabin’s "Poem of Fire" is not a narrative, but an attempt to recreate, through sound, the very process of unleashing and transmitting this generative energy.
