Master Class by Alexey Vasiliev

From March 26 to 29, 2026, the Moscow Helikon Opera Music Theatre will host the IV All-Russian Cello Academy – an educational event for professional cello performers, students, and graduates of music schools.

The academy will feature open master classes by renowned cellists, lectures by professionals on topics relevant to musicians, and a final concert featuring all the teachers and students who participated in the academy's master classes.

On March 28, a master class was held by Alexey Vasiliev, cellist, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Rector of the N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory, professor, and Artistic Director of the St. Petersburg Conservatory Symphony Orchestra.
