"I love you, my Russia!"

Description

The Academic Choir of the Russian Song of the Orpheus Television and Radio Center presented the program "I love you, my Russia!" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of People's Artist of the USSR Nikolai Kutuzov, his artistic director, who led the collective for almost 60 years and formed its unique style, repertoire and performing school, and raised an entire school of folk singing masters.

The program featured compositions by Nikolai Kutuzov and his famous author's arrangements of folk songs, such as "Ermak", "Glorious Sea, sacred Baikal", "Along the St. Petersburg River", "Ah, you are the canopy", "Ah, Utushka Lugovaya", "White Birch" based on poems by S. Yesenin, "Dunya Ferry I held it." A special place was taken by the band's business cards — the vocal and choreographic compositions "The Moon is Shining" and "Lady".

A special guest of the concert was Nikolai Kutuzov's daughter, Honored Artist of Russia Elena Kutuzova, who stood at the conductor's desk.
