Unknown Mossolov. Multimedia musical project
Unknown Mossolov. Multimedia concert to mark the composer's 120th birth anniversary.
The event is a part of the joint Orpheus Radio and Unipro PJSC project "Russian Composers' Heritage Revival" to to restore the forgotten music of Russian composers.
Alexander Mossolov (1900 -1973) is one of the first avant-garde artists in Russia, a composer of the early Soviet era, best known for his early futuristic piano sonatas, orchestral episodes and vocal music. Until now, most of his legacy has not been published or performed, much of it has been lost forever. Not so long ago, the scores of some of the works of this composer were found in the music library of the Orpheus Radio. We decided to restore justice and the forgotten music of A. Mossolov is being played again.
