Description

The Sergiev Posad Municipal Orchestra, founded in 1993, is one of the leading creative teams in the Moscow Region. Since 2019, the orchestra has been headed by Igor Kantyukov, who is the orchestra principal conductor, Merited Art Worker of the Russian Federation, composer, arranger, double bass player, member of Russia's Filmmakers' Union and the Union of Composers.

The orchestra successfully performs both in Russia and abroad. Its repertoire is very diverse: jazz arrangements (classical and modern), pop pieces, film music, songs and arias, classical chamber music, traditional marches and waltzes for brass bands.
