"Russia shines in my heart" Marking Sergei Yesenin's 125th birth anniversary
The Elena Obraztsova Foundation presents the concert “Russia Shines in My Heart”.
The program includes Russian folk music and vocal works based on the poems by Sergei Yesenin, created by G. Sviridov, G. Ponomarenko, E. Popov, V. Lipatov, Y. Gulyaev.
Along with well-known songs and romances, the concert will present works from Sviridov's vocal cycles "My father is a peasant" from the poem "Departed Russia".
Laureates of international competitions take part in the concert:

Yulia Menninbaeva (mezzo-soprano)
Igor Morozov (tenor)
Nikolai Zemlyanskikh (baritone)
Nekrasov Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments. Conductor - Andrei Shlyachkov.
Poems by Sergei Yesenin will be recited by the artist of the Moscow Theatre of Poets Roman Sorokin.
