Gala concert of the III Interregional Open Competition of Performers on String Instruments named after V. Ya. Shpet

The 3rd Interregional Open Competition for Performers on String Instruments named after V. Ya. Shpet was held in Omsk from February 7 to 15. It concluded with a gala concert, where the names of the competition laureates, winners, and special prize recipients were announced.

In the second half of the concert, the winners performed their solo pieces accompanied by the Omsk Academic Symphony Orchestra. The conductor was Mikhail Golikov, a member of the third round jury, People's Artist of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Leningrad State Regional Philharmonic, and Director and Principal Conductor of the St. Petersburg State Philharmonic for Children and Youth.
