Symphony concert “Ruslan and Lyudmila”
On August 8, 2024, in Zaryadye Park as part of the forum-festival "Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030" the famous fairy tale poem "Ruslan and Lyudmila" has come to life. This is a grand opera and drama concert accompanied by a Grand Symphony Orchestra under the direction of the laureate of international competitions Yuri Demidovich with the participation of ballet dancers of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia.
The audience saw and heard the skillful performance of arias from the opera by laureates of international competitions, artists of the leading musical theaters in Moscow: Veronika Khorosheva, Alexander Kolesnikov, Alexander Chernov, Gabriel de Relle, Irina Berezina.
The production was created for the anniversary of A.S. Pushkin (225 years old) and M.I. Glinka (220 years old) — their names are closely linked in the history of Russian art. The text of the poem was read by the artist of the Modern theater Alexander Tolmachev.
