SYMPHONY OF VICTORY

On April 30, on the eve of the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Bolshoi Theater hosted The Symphony of Victory concert of The Central Military Orchestra of Russian Ministry of Defense for the first time.

Not only musicians of The Central Military Orchestra of Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation performed on stage, but also artists of the Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the Russian Army named after A.V. Alexandrov, soloists of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia and the Moscow theater "New Opera", as well as a unique ensemble of throat singing "Alash" from Republic of Tyva.

Artists performed masterpieces of classical music and famous works by Russian composers for military personnel and their families, as well as for veterans of wars and the Armed Forces, sports veterans and military personnel participating in the Victory Parade on Red Square in 2023.

The concert was organized by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and The Bolshoi Theater of Russia with the support of the Russian State Musical Television and Radio Center "Orpheus".
