On January 15, composer Maxim Dunaevsky celebrated his 80th birthday, and January 30 marks the 125th birthday of another outstanding composer, Isaak Dunaevsky. Double Portrait", dedicated to the work of the famous composer dynasty. The evening became a real holiday for lovers of music and musicals. The first act immersed us in the world of songs by Isaak Dunaevsky. Everyone in our country knows his music. It is famous for its lightness, because having heard the melody once, you will never forget it. The uniqueness of the first part is not only in the form, but also in the documentary nature of the plot. The author of "Song of the Motherland", hits from the films "Jolly Fellows", "Kuban Cossacks", "Circus", "Children of Captain Grant" and many others, Isaak Dunaevsky lived an interesting and eventful life. In his works, we heard not just music - this is a real story, full of emotions and inspiration. Maxim Dunaevsky continued the traditions of his family, giving us melodies that are known and loved throughout the country. In the second act of the anniversary evening, unforgettable works of the composer from beloved films and performances were performed: "The Three Musketeers", "Mary Poppins, Goodbye", "Oh, Vaudeville, Vaudeville ...", "Carnival", "The Flying Ship", "Scarlet Sails" and others. This section of the evening became a gala concert, where both individual numbers and fragments from musicals were performed, which delight audiences in all corners of our country. And all this was accompanied by a live orchestra, creating an atmosphere of unique magic.

The evening was attended by: Dmitry Kharatyan, Nonna Grishaeva, Ivan Ozhogin, Natalia Bystrova, Daria Yanvarina, Yulia Dyakina, Angelina Sergeeva, Yuri Mazikhin, Rostislav Kolpakov, Emil Sales, Konstantin Kitanin, as well as stars of the capital's musicals and the Moscow Operetta Theater.

The anniversary evening "Dunaevskiye. Double Portrait" was realized with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, Rosconcert and the Government of Moscow.
