The Castalian Key. Musical tribute to the anniversaries of composers: Mikhail Glinka, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, Modest Mussorgsky, Valery Gavrilin.

The concert program includes outstanding works by the jubilee composers of 2024, whose work at various times determined the global and national development of romance.

Mikhail Glinka is the creator of the Russian national opera and his amazing song world, the decoration of which was the cycle "Farewell to St. Petersburg". Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov is an icon and the source of the St. Petersburg school of composition, "the purest charm is the purest example" of the St. Petersburg romance style and its pearls, Modest Mussorgsky is a unique creator of musical chronicles of Russian history and everyday life. Valery Gavrilin is the flesh of the flesh of the great school of his predecessors.

The anniversary program was performed by artists who have won wide recognition as interpreters of Russian romance – soloist of the Novaya Opera Theater Polina Shamaeva, guest soloist of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia Vladimir Baykov, soloist of the Bolshoi Theater Alexander Polkovnikov, soloist of the Mariinsky Theater Sergei Romanov, soloists of the F.I. Chaliapin Musical Theater Anna Vikulina and Joseph Piliev, soloist of the Mikhailovsky Theater Alexander Kuznetsov, as well as the president of the Festival, laureate of international competitions Oksana Fedorova.

The piano part is performed by the artistic director of the Festival, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Professor of the St. Petersburg Conservatory Irina Sharapova and laureates of international competitions Kirill Pavlov, Yaroslava Serdobolskaya and Alexander Larionov.

The presenter of the concert is Gulnara Maslyaeva.
