The VII All-Russian Competition of Young Musicians "Sozvezdie" was held from April 6 to 12, 2025. The goal of the "Sozvezdie" competition is to introduce young talented musicians to the audience and the professional community and provide them with further support. The finalists enter the best educational institutions of Russia, play accompanied by leading groups under the direction of the best conductors, participate in concerts, all-Russian and international competitions and festivals. The competition is becoming one of the main events in the world of music, popularizing classical music education and preserving the traditions of the Russian performing school. Experts annually note the high artistic level of the participants: young musicians demonstrate technical skill, a wide creative and repertoire range. The competition is held in three specialized areas: "Piano", "Orchestral String Instruments" and "Orchestral Wind and Percussion Instruments". Traditionally, the final stage of the competition will be held in three in-person rounds on the federal territory of "Sirius". The third round of competitive auditions in 2025 will be accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of the State Academic Capella of St. Petersburg.
