Master class "Russia-China"

From June 27 to July 5, the first International festival "The World of Classical Romance" takes place in St. Petersburg.

The festival is organized by the Oksana Fedorova Foundation and the Irina Sharapova Camerata Foundation with the support of the St. Petersburg Committee for Culture. Its main goal is to popularize the national cultural heritage, develop and strengthen interregional and international cultural ties by introducing participants and viewers to the best examples of chamber vocal art.

As part of the festival, watch on the Orpheus media platform a recording of the broadcast of the only open master class by Chinese singer, professor of the Beijing Conservatory Zhao Yunhong for vocalists of all ages, their parents and teachers!

Professor, head of the Institute of Vocal Art Research at the Chinese Conservatory, head of the choir of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China — Zhao Yunhong is one of the active participants in international cultural projects aimed at developing cooperation between Russia and China in the field of classical art, and also participates in the jury of international vocal competitions.

As part of the master class, Ms. Yunhong told:

- how is classical vocal training organized in China

- what student exchange and internship programs exist between Russia and China

- shared her secrets of mastery

- she also answered the questions of the participants of the master class and performed some of her most favorite works
