"Play a melody" contest. Summarizing

Summing up the results of the “Play a Melody” contest and the concert took place on October 25 at the Moscow Conservatory. The name of the winner was announced in the Rachmaninoff Hall at a concert where Honored Artist of Russia pianist Ekaterina Mechetina performed. She performed Igor Nikolaev’s cycle “15 Melodies for Piano”.

The author himself read poems and communicated with competition participants.

Let us remind you that the “Play a Melody” contest was held on the VKontakte social network, where participants had to post a video of a performance of a piece from Igor Nikolaev’s album “15 Melodies for Piano”.
