Romantic Masterpieces

Description

The cycle of concerts and lectures of the Pure Classics project is being implemented by the FIRCON Foundation using a grant provided by the Russian Cultural Foundation within the framework of the Federal Project "Creative People" of the National Project "Culture" together with the Orpheus TV and Radio Center and the Russian National Museum of Music.

The concert featured works by German composers: Robert Schumann and Johannes Brahms.

German Romanticism of the 19th century is one of the most striking phenomena in the history of European culture. Poetry, music, painting are experiencing an amazing era of dawn and perfection. The soft nature of Austria and Germany with its forests, hills, streams comes to life in the music of German romantics. Poetic experiences of the tragedy and beauty of love and death, separation and hope, the sounds of a hunting horn and the noise of foliage - all this you can hear in the music of Schumann and Brahms, which sounds in our concert.
