International Tchaikovsky Youth Festival

Description

The opening ceremony of the festival took place on June 21, 2024 at the State Pushkin Museum. The concert program includes performances of works by P.I. Tchaikovsky, F. Chopin, M.L.Rostropovich, F. Liszt, E.A.Zimbalist and S.V.Rachmaninov.

Participants of the concert were: Anastasia Ushakova (cello, Russia), Gleb Semenov (piano, Russia), Sergey Mkrtichyan (violin, Russia), Chenzhe Ni (piano, China), Tatyana Borisova (cello, Russia), Reta Matsuhashi (piano, Japan), Arseniya Sibileva (violin, Russia), Jiang Welnong (baritone, China), Valery Makarov (tenor, Russia), Lu Hengqi (piano, China)

The International Tchaikovsky Youth Festival is a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the world stars of classical music of tomorrow.

More than 30 participants took part in the fourth festival, including laureates of the world-famous International Tchaikovsky Competition and other prestigious competitions, as well as very young performers who have yet to conquer the musical Olympus, from Russia, China, Venezuela, Korea, Japan, Mongolia, the USA and Italy.
