Alexander Ramm Master class


From March 29 to March 31, 2024, the Moscow musical theater “Helikon-Opera” will host the II All-Russian Cello Academy - an educational event for professional performers, students and graduates of music educational institutions in the cello class.

The Academy will host 10 open master classes by famous cellists, presentations by professionals on topics relevant to musicians, and a final concert with the participation of all teachers and students who took part in the Academy’s master classes.

On March 31, a master class was held by Alexander Ramm, a cellist and laureate of the International Competition named after. P.I. Tchaikovsky (2015), soloist of the Moscow Philharmonic.

Alexander Alexandrovich takes part in all significant projects of the St. Petersburg House of Music, is a regular participant in the programs for promoting young artists of the Moscow Philharmonic, including the “Stars of the 21st Century” project, both in Moscow and in the regions of Russia, and participates in the programs of the Moscow Easter Festival festival organized by Valery Gergiev.

Alexander Ramm performed accompanied by the State Orchestra of Russia named after E.F. Svetlanov, the Mariinsky Theater Symphony Orchestra, the Moscow Philharmonic Academic Symphony Orchestra, the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, the Cape Town and Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestras and many other orchestras.
