Score. Young Music of Russia
The Orpheus TV and Radio Center and the International TV BRICS Network present a new documentary film, "Score. Young Music of Russia." The film is based on the III All-Russian Competition of Young Composers "Score," the goal of which is to discover new names and give young talented composers of the academic direction the opportunity to declare themselves.
The film tells about the profession of a composer and the role of young authors in the modern music industry. The heroes of the film are participants and winners of the competition. They discuss the challenges they face and the importance of symphonic music in the modern world.
The film is also aimed at popularizing the achievements of Russian musical culture and increasing the prestige of the composer profession. The film featured members of the competition jury - People's Artists of Russia Maxim Dunaevsky, Alexey Rybnikov, Alexander Tchaikovsky, Honored Artist of Russia Zuo Zhenguan, Honored Artist of Russia Alexey Khodorchenkov, as well as famous conductors - Artistic Director of the TV BRICS International Symphony Orchestra Mikhail Golikov, Artistic Director of the St. Petersburg State Musical Theater named after F. I. Chaliapin Fabio Mastrangelo, Artistic Director of the Chamber Choir of the Moscow State Conservatory named after P. I. Tchaikovsky Alexander Solovyov.
