Press conference dedicated to the launch of the IV All-Russian Competition of Young Composers "Score"

A press conference dedicated to the launch of the IV All-Russian Competition for Young Composers "Score" was held on February 2 at TASS.

The following participants spoke about the competition's rules, stages, nominations, jury composition, and the role of such projects in discovering new talent for the development of composition:

- Artistic Director of the Moscow Regional Philharmonic, People's Artist of Russia Maxim Dunaevsky;

- General Director and Artistic Director of the Orpheus Television and Radio Broadcasting Center Irina Gerasimova;

- General Director of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Musical Theater, member of the Presidential Council for Culture and Arts Andrei Borisov;

- Director of the Moscow State Academic Symphony Orchestra Irina Shigoreva;

- Executive Director of the Interregional Public Organization "Russian Musical Society" Svetlana Kobzar;

- Karina Abramyan, General Director of the Union of Composers of Russia.

Also joining the online event were:

- Natalia Bazaleva, Honored Artist of the Sakha Republic and Artistic Director of the G.M. Krivoshapko State Philharmonic of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia);

- Fabio Mastrangelo, Artistic Director of the F.I. Chaliapin St. Petersburg State Musical Theater.
