Ekaterina Mechetina

On June 15, the FRANGULYAN Gallery hosted a club evening "MEDIA & ART" with Ekaterina Mechetina, which will end the summer season of meetings with cultural and art figures.

Ekaterina Mechetina is an outstanding Russian pianist, soloist of the Moscow State Philharmonic, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Laureate of the Presidential Prize of the Russian Federation, and the author of several programs on the Orpheus radio station.

Ekaterina Mechetina: “Rakhmaninov is my everything. Rachmaninoff is a person close to me. Of course, I communicate with him through music... Great artists need a constant reminder of what we have. It's good to have the opportunity to once again talk and confess your love to them. This is especially important for the younger generation, because they discover these personalities for themselves.

Rachmaninov's Preludes and transcriptions of Sergei Vasilyevich's works were performed.
