Master Class by Xie Guangyu

From March 26 to 29, 2026, the Moscow Helikon Opera Music Theatre will host the IV All-Russian Cello Academy – an educational event for professional cello performers, students, and graduates of music schools.

The academy will feature open masterclasses by renowned cellists, presentations by professionals on topics relevant to musicians, and a final concert featuring all the teachers and students who participated in the academy's masterclasses.

On March 27, a masterclass was held by Xie Guangyu, cellist, associate professor, and academic director of the master's program at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and deputy chairman of the Cello Professional Committee of the Shanghai Musicians' Association (China).
