Master class by Olga Galochkina

From March 27 to March 30, 2025, the Moscow musical theater "Helikon-Opera" will host the III All-Russian Cello Academy - an educational event for professional performers, students and graduates of musical educational institutions in the cello class. This year it is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of V. Berlinsky.

The Academy will include 13 open master classes of famous cellists, reports by professionals on topics relevant to musicians and a final concert with the participation of all teachers and students who took part in the master classes of the Academy.

On March 29, a master class was held by Olga Galochkina - cellist, associate professor of the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky and teacher of the Central Music School (Academy of Performing Arts), Honored Cultural Worker of the Russian Federation.

Olga Borisovna actively combines teaching activities with concert performances, is a member of the State Quartet named after S.S. Prokofiev. Performs as a soloist and in chamber ensembles. She is a permanent member of the "Taneyev Trio", as part of which she became a laureate of the 1st prize of the Open All-Russian Competition of Chamber Ensembles named after S.I. Taneyev (1996). Since 1999 - soloist of the ensemble "Studio for New Music", and since 2007 - member of the State Quartet named after Prokofiev.
