Carlo Levi - Minzi Concert

Description

On June 22, the Prokofiev Hall of the Russian Museum of Music hosted a concert by the outstanding pianist Carlo Levi - Minzi. (Italy). The concert program included works by Sergei Vasilyevich Rachmaninov.

It is symbolic that it was the Rachmaninov program that opened the cycle of concerts "Pure Classics" with the support of the Russian Foundation for Culture, together with Radio "Orpheus".

A feature of the cycle is that all concerts are broadcast on the Orpheus.ru media platform and remain available to everyone.

Carlo Levi Minzi studied with the most famous professors of the 20th century: Enrik Cavallo, Vladimir Natanson. Paul Baumgartner, Mieczysław Gorszowski. He gave concerts in the largest musical capitals of the world. His recordings for radio, television and numerous CDs reflect the vast range of his musical and pianistic gifts.

His repertoire ranges from Bach to contemporary compositions, including all sonatas by Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Scriabin and over 50 piano concertos.

Carlo Levi Minzi is a professor at the Verdi Conservatory of Milan and a visiting professor at many renowned musical institutions in Italy and abroad.
