The figure of 70 seems absolutely fantastic when it comes to Alexander Klevitsky. Someone knows this amazingly versatile musician as the author of music for several hundred plots of "Yeralash", someone appreciates him as a serious academic musician, someone admires him as a long-term artistic director and chief conductor of the legendary Orchestra named after Yu.V. Silantiev. But everyone, without exception, agrees on one thing: his every appearance on stage is a real show!

Over the years, his songs have been performed by Joseph Kobzon and Zurab Sotkilava, Pavel Smeyan and Mikhail Boyarsky, Anne Veski and Tamara Gverdtsiteli, Dima Bilan and Vitas and an endless number of other popular artists. "I have always been a supporter of beautiful melodies and took poetry very seriously, my songs are filled with inner feelings," says the composer. – I have this technique: when I compose music, I mentally put myself in the hall and imagine what I would like to hear now. Today, alas, the musical style has changed, and the emphasis is on rhythm, not melody..."

On July 7, bright and gentle, melodic and soulful songs to the music of Alexander Klevitsky were performed by Sergey Penkin, Efim Shifrin, Eteri Beriashvili, Askar Abdrazakov, Mariam Merabova, Anna Buturlina, Nina Shatskaya, Ekaterina Guseva, the Pyatero group and other wonderful artists whose names are familiar to all fans of pop songs and jazz today, without exception. The Academic Large Concert Orchestra named after him is on stage. Silantieva and, of course, the hero of the day himself! The concert turned out to be Cool!
