Seeing Dreams. Concert of the participants of the laboratory "Composer Readings"

Description

Young Russian composers – Anna Kuzmina, Anzhelika Gabibova (Saint Petersburg), Lidiya-Maria Koshevaya, Dania Fisko (Moscow), Lukas Sukharev (Syktyvkar), Elizaveta Zgirskaya (Tomsk), Tamara Egorova (Nizhny Novgorod), Varvara Churakova (Pskov), Veronika Karchemkina (Perm) – presented vocal and choral music. Nine new works – nine different views on academic composition today.

The interests of the composers include texts by Vladimir Mayakovsky, Michel Houellebecq, Vladimir Nabokov, Sergei Yesenin, modernist poetry by Wallace Stevens and ancient texts of the Komi-Zyryans. All pieces were written for one of the leading choral groups in the field of modern music – the Intrada ensemble (artistic director and conductor Ekaterina Antonenko). This is the result of the laboratory "Composer Readings. Choir", which took place in Moscow in early October.

The project is carried out by the Union of Composers of Russia with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Russia
