Music lecture. Vladimir Fedoseev

Description

Musical Lectures - an educational program within the framework of the All-Russian Competition of Young Composers "Score", held in the historical hall of the Helikon Opera Theater.

The program includes experts from the music industry, such as: Eduard Artemyev, Ekaterina Chukovskaya, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Dmitry Grinchenko.

Vladimir Fedoseyev, artistic director and chief conductor of the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra, is a guest of the "Musical Lectures".

"Composers and conductors... one cannot exist without the other" - with these phrases Vladimir Fedoseyev begins the meeting with young musicians. Composers do not always manage to successfully conduct their own compositions. For example, Tchaikovsky's Fifth Symphony was not accepted publicly when the composer himself was at the conductor's stand, but only this work was addressed by the great conductor Arthur Nikish - the symphony won a triumphant success in Europe. The task of conveying the conductor is to comprehend the composer's idea and be able to publish it.

During his long creative life, Vladimir Fedoseyev had the opportunity to work with many great singers and musicians. The conductor recalls the friendship and mentorship of Georgy Sviridova, and his work with Sergei Lemeshev and Luciano Pavarotti.
