Vladimir Dashkevich is one of the most famous composers, writing in all genres, ranging from music for films “The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson”, “Heart of a Dog”, “Bumbarash”, “Winter Cherry” and ending with chamber symphonic works.

Vladimir Sergeevich is the author of 9 symphonies, 3 operas, 5 musicals, 5 instrumental concerts, music for more than 30 performances and about 90 films, numerous works of chamber, program and vocal music, Soviet and Russian composer, music theorist. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2002). Laureate of the USSR State Prize (1991). Member of the Union of Composers of the USSR since 1965.
