Parade of Brass Instruments

Description

The concert "Parade of Brass" took place within the framework of the First Open Moscow Festival of Brass Music named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov.

The concert concludes the thematic series of acquaintance of listeners with wind instruments. At this concert the department of brass instruments of the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky was presented, headed by professor, concertmaster of the trombone group of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia Erkin Yusupov.

"Parade of Brass" is a gift to the festival from the department, where the brightest numbers of the festival in the conservatory were presented - these are choirs of French horns, trombones, tubas, duets, trios, brass quintet, brass ensemble of the Moscow Conservatory, in which also performed teachers of the Moscow Conservatory, associate professors A. Starkov, Ya. Belyakov, as well as their young colleagues, teachers Yuri Majorin and Doskhan Zheksembay. The soloists were the best students of the Moscow Conservatory, laureates of international competitions Ilyas Nevretdinov (trumpet), Stepan Smirnykh (trombone) and Artem Krivov (tuba).

The program includes music by Russian and European classics.

The First Open Moscow Festival of Brass Music named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov was held with the support of the Association of Brass Bands and Performers on Brass and Percussion Instruments "Valery Khalilov Brass Society" and the Russian State Medical Center "Orpheus".
