Clarinetissimo
The Clarinetissimo concert took place as part of the First Open Moscow Festival of Brass Music named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov.
The concert featured many varieties of clarinet: the miniature piccolo clarinet, the majestic bass clarinet and the exquisite basset horn. The concert featured "golden hits" from the repertoire of many clarinetists. There were some musical surprises: the artists demonstrated not only virtuoso skill, but also a sense of humor, which is sometimes hidden behind strict notes!
The concert was filled with an incredible variety of clarinet sounds - from its soft, velvety timbres to bright and virtuoso passages. This unique event gives the audience the opportunity not only to enjoy the skill of leading Moscow musicians, but also to discover the richness and beauty of this instrument. The concert program included works by L. Bernstein, F. Poulenc, J. Montilla and, of course, N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov.
The concert was attended by: the Bolshoi Theater Quartet, the GASK Quartet, artists of the RNMSO, including famous Moscow clarinetists such as Sergei Petrov, Dmitry Limantsev, Leonid Ilyin, Nikolai Inkizhinov, Dmitry Volkov, Dmitry Rybalko, Anton Vlasov, Marat Avanesyan, Ivan Tikhonov, Artem Vanyan, Daniil Serdyukov, Alexander Udalov, Semyon Ushakov.
The First Open Moscow Festival of Brass Music named after N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov was held with the support of the Association of Brass Bands and Performers "Valery Khalilov Brass Society" and the Orpheus Television and Radio Center.
